Services & Publishing Model

Yes. FKB works with independent publishers, research institutions, academic organizations, and independent authors or rights holders who manage substantial catalogues or specialized single titles requiring global distribution infrastructure.

Self-publishing platforms typically offer automated file uploading directly to retail stores. FKB operates as an enterprise infrastructure partner—auditing ONIX metadata, verifying print and digital file compliance, coordinating multi-language releases, and managing ongoing catalogue revisions.

Yes. Where established publishers hold registered imprints and ISBN prefixes, titles remain published under their own imprint name. FKB acts under authorized distribution parameters to manage channel delivery.

No fixed minimum title count is required. We evaluate projects based on publication quality, market readiness, formatting requirements, and distribution scope.

Global Distribution & Reach

Depending on format and territorial eligibility, FKB reaches over 40,000 retail, wholesale, library, and digital channels across 80+ countries. This includes major trade retailers (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Waterstones, Kobo, Apple Books), library networks (OverDrive, Hoopla, Bibliotheca), and academic aggregators.

Yes. Territorial rights parameters are configured in your title metadata (ONIX). If you hold exclusive rights in specific regions (e.g., UK & Europe only), distribution feeds are configured to restrict sales outside those licensed territories.

No. FKB provides print-on-demand and trade wholesale availability, making physical titles orderable by brick-and-mortar bookstores worldwide. However, physical stocking decisions remain at the discretion of individual store buyers.

Print, E-book & Audiobook Formats

We support industry-standard paperback and hardcover bindings, including cream or white interior paper stock, glossy or matte cover lamination, and standard trade trim sizes (5.5″x8.5″, 6″x9″, 7″x10″, etc.).

Reflowable EPUB is standard for text-heavy fiction, non-fiction, and general trade books. Fixed-layout EPUB is recommended for heavily illustrated works, children’s picture books, cookbooks, textbooks, or complex layout titles where page design must remain static.

Both. For existing master audio files, FKB handles compliance checks and distribution setup. For selected projects, FKB also coordinates narrator casting, studio recording, editing, mastering, and ACX/Audible technical compliance.

Multilingual & Specialist Publishing

FKB brings deep operational experience to Arabic and Urdu publishing—managing RTL page direction, diacritic/vocalization rendering, complex typography, and footnote apparatus integrity across both print and EPUB formats.

When a title is published in multiple languages, FKB synchronizes metadata records, cover branding, rights parameters, and channel ingestion schedules so all translated editions launch simultaneously or in planned sequences.

CATEGORY 05

Rights, Royalties & Financial Terms

No. Publishers, institutions, and authors retain 100% ownership of copyright and publishing rights. FKB operates strictly as an authorized infrastructure and distribution partner.

Sales reporting is consolidated according to channel accounting cycles. Net earnings payouts are distributed every six months based on settled channel funds and verified sales statements.

Yes. Retail prices can be explicitly set across USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD, and other major currencies within your ONIX metadata feeds, preventing arbitrary currency conversion rates at retail checkout.
